Insanity Day 11: Cardio Recovery

So just so we’re clear I HAVE been doing the workouts every damn day just way too lazy to update.

Also as of yesterday my boyfriend has committed to training with me (and sadly for him I’m in the middle of Insanity) and he’s been a trooper. I thought he’d give up but he hasn’t. So proud of him. He NEVER exercises he’s kind of the poster child for junk food and couch surfing and while I’m still working on getting him to eat better, getting off the couch is a big improvement :) Trying to at least cook a meal every night so he doesn’t get fast food. BABY STEPS.

My intake today was pretty awful… I wouldn’t call it a binge but it was definitely not okay.

Breakfast: Kiwi, 1 slice french toast, raisin and spice oatmeal prepared with skim milk
Lunch: Popcorn, mint, top ramen, 2 glasses diet doctor pepper. [seriously wtf?]
Dinner: We decided on nachos [plus a salad for me].
Water: 1.5 liters. Not as much as I usually have but I dropped the ball, just trying to pick up where I left off and move on.

I need to learn how to focus and achieve discipline. I’ll never get the body I want making the same mistakes over and over. I don’t know if you can even call them mistakes, just awful habits that keep on killin’ me.

Tomorrow is a new day and I’m excited, tbh.

Meal plan:

Breakfast: Whole wheat pancake [w/ 1 tbsp raspberry syrup], greek yogurt, orange
Lunch: Greek yogurt w/ granola, asian pear, celery w/ dressing
Dinner: Tuna, broccoli

Workouts are supposed to be hard. They’re supposed to make you tired. If you don’t work for it, you will not get results. The best athletes in the world don’t quit when they’re tired. If you want to be just as good, neither should you. This is to say, however, that you should also make realistic goals. Doing hundreds or thousands of reps is not a reasonable thing to do; those habits are just plain unhealthy. If you need help with your routine, there are many resources open to you with suggestions.
